First, you need to know whether or not you are going to be walking a lot or taking a cart all the time. If you are going to be doing a lot of walking, then you do not want a heavy bag and you probably want a bag that has dual straps like a book bag. This will fit your needs much better than a large and heavy bag like what you see the professionals using on television. Those bags weigh well over 50 pounds and that is a lot to be toting through 18 holes.
Second, if you are not going to be walking much, then you can go with a much larger bag that is called a cart bag.
